A sacred journey of liberating female sexuality.
Does your sexuality belong to you?
If you’re here, then I suspect you already know the answer to this.
At some point in a woman’s life, we realize that our sexuality has been coopted and controlled by outside forces. The patriarchy. White supremacy. Capitalism.
It tells us how to look, what to say, and what standards we have to meet in order to be worthy. It takes over completely.
And one day, we decide to take ourselves back.
After years of silence and acquiescence, we throw our heads back and howl.
Join the Temple of the Wolf Women
Howl is a temple space. A sacred, hidden corner of the internet where you can go to reconnect with your sexuality. A baptismal pool where you can birth yourself anew, washing away the limits, constraints, and directives that have been imposed upon female sexuality for centuries.
Howl is a mystery school. A playground for thinkers who feel a lot and feelers who think a lot. An academy filled with sexual philosophy, feminist analysis, and the wisdom of our guest priestesses.
Howl is a permission slip. A validating space for reclaiming your sexual self in exactly the way that works for you. A system of support that encourages you to unleash your truth in exactly the way you see fit.
Howl is a femme-positive gallery space. A curation of philosophical essays, personal compositions, and erotic poetry. A celebration of the stunning beauty of female sexuality.
Howl is an unlearning. A place to decouple ourselves from patriarchy, white supremacy, capitalism, and colonization.
Liberate Yourself
Does your self-worth grow when you feel more desirable to men? Do you feel pressure to conform to “feminine” grooming standards? Do you feel your self-expression is limited because of the gender expectations of being a woman? Do you weigh yourself and inspect your skin in the mirror each morning?
Do you feel you have to meet certain standards in order to be sexy? Are you tired of feeling that sexiness is the most important thing you have to offer the world?
In Howl, we’re asking all the questions, challenging all the stereotypes, and bringing ourselves back into wholeness, piece by piece.
Take a look at some of the conversations you’ll find there in the videos below:

What You Need to Know
Please read through this important information to help you decide whether or not this temple experience is right for you.
-
Some of this content is edgy. Some of it is harsh. Some of it is provocative.
There will be nude portraits, as well.
So please be aware that this space is not something that you should open at your office desk.
And if nudity or speaking frankly about sexuality makes you uncomfortable, this might not be right for you.
-
This is an artistic, multimedia space created by a female artist, writer, and photographer with the intention of exploring sexual liberation for herself and other women.
This space is for women, however, men are welcome to take part as part of their own practice of sexual liberation or to buy a subscription as a way to become a patron of this space.
There is zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, and bad behavior in this temple.
Men: Sexual solicitations, dick pics, and other such violations will end in your expulsion from the temple.
-
Let’s talk about money. Many writers are branching off on their own. Writing for content mills is not sustainable, nor is it a healthy economic trend for the gifted and devoted creatives of the world.
The people who choose to support individual artists do it because they recognize the quality of the work. They want to immerse themselves in these highly curated experiences with top-notch content, rather than pay a few bucks for a tidal wave of random articles and essays of varying quality.
Thank you so much for supporting the artists who are trying to make the world better, word by word, photo by photo, creation by creation.

“Yael's column, Howl, started as Sexography's community baby and grew into a driving force behind the growth of our magazine. Yael carefully and insightfully fostered Howl into a beautiful and inspiring collection of deeply personal memoir-driven essays mixed with keen observations that kept readers coming back for more.”
— Benjamin Davis, Co-editor of Sexography
“Howl is a home for courageous writing. These stories will challenge your understanding of femininity and leave you feeling encouraged and valued. Readers will find themselves looking for more insight, more excitement, with each and every story.”
— Allison Gaines, EIC of Cultured and co-founder of WEOC
“One of the great joys of watching Yael grow these last few years as a writer has been the strength of her truth and honesty, which glow like the embers of a wolf’s eyes in the moonlight. She speaks with aching accuracy about the great chasm we feel inside, wanting to be loved and wanted, yet drawn to what makes us wild, which pushes away some of the very people we wish to hold us close. I value Yael’s willingness to leave her pawprints in the cold, lonely snows where many refuse to go until someone else goes first. She does. It might feel like a lonely path, but Yael is in excellent company. You’d do well to join her pack.”
— Julia Hubbel, writer
“When Yael Wolfe howls, you want to listen. She is dedicated to cultivating a more rich, authentic, and passionate life for herself, and for others, particularly other women. Yael’s warmth, authenticity, and no nonsense style will sometimes make you smile and sometimes make you angry that the world isn’t a better place, but if you’re like me, you won’t want to miss a minute.”
— Elle Beau, writer and editor of Sensual: An Erotic Life
“Howl has evolved from a voice of discovered sexuality to a home for feminine energy that has been ignored for too long. It is in this place-making that Yael has merged her many gifts in service to the sacred feminine, and thus blessed us all with a place we can discover ourselves.”
— Kathryn Dickel, EIC of Pollinate Magazine
A Word on the Importance of Representation
Engaging with our sexuality is our birthright. Any place, project, or venue that celebrates human sexuality should be an inclusive space where everyone finds themselves represented.
However, our white-supremacist, patriarchal, fat-phobic, ageist, ableist culture has taken that from us. Sexuality spaces are not, in general, inclusive.
Howl is committed to creating that space here.
A sacred journey of liberating female sexuality.
